                                            How is Recycled PU Leather Made?                                    

                  The material is constructed with a dual focus on recycling the backing and, where possible, the surface coating:            

           

             
1. **Recycled Backing:** Post-consumer plastic (PET bottles) is processed into rPET yarn, which is woven into the strong, flexible fabric base.
             
2. **PU Formulation:** A polyurethane layer is formulated for the surface. In our most sustainable options, this formulation includes recycled PU content from production waste.
             
3. **Coating & Adhesion:** The PU layer is adhered to the recycled backing using environmentally improved methods (often water-based, solvent-free adhesives).
             
4. **Finishing:** The material is embossed and finished to replicate the look and feel of real leather.
           

            Our Recycled PU is meticulously sourced and comes with **certification (such as GRS for the rPET content)**, ensuring transparency regarding its recycled composition.
